I Heart: The Saturdays

Seriously, it's absolutely unfair that UK has amazing music thats so impossible get a hold of here in the US! I get the copyright thing, but really? We can't share the universal love of amazing music? You Tube has been this amazing phenomenon for me where people can go hear all sorts of amazing music from all over the world. Well this girl finally found a legal way to get a hold of an album she's wanted for quite sometime now; Saturdays: On Your Radar.
Something about divas singing to great club beats that gets me. It just instantly puts me in a good mood. I love that their music doesn't scream cheesy like most group bands. When I wake up to do my work every morning, this album is what's playing. I think it's a good transition in the morning to my trance sets that I usually play. Not too hard, playful, and flirty. Come to think of it, I think my gym plays some of the songs from this album in the morning hours.

I found out about the band from looking up new pixie cuts to try, then all of a sudden I'm greeted by this adorable brunette with amazing style. I was taken away with the Frankie Sanford asymmetrical bob. That was a year ago and I've had my similar adaptations of her famous cut. Sooner than not, I started seeing more of her all across the web. Out of sheer curiosity I looked up their music and the rest is history...

I don't think there's a song on this album that I don't enjoy. If I had to choose some I really love it would be Faster, Get Ready Get Set, and of course the single Notorious. It's been a few years since I've had such an easy listening album. It's so common these days to get an album where you have to grab snippets from and make your own mix with the digital age. This takes me to the days when you would buy a CD and listen to it all the way through. Their consistent enough in style, but not so much that you get that sinking feeling that you just bought one track.

Give them a try! Just give them a good search on YouTube and you'll get plenty of results.
