Ultra Violet Bangs

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. When I'm in the process of growing out my hair I have a job that allows me to dye my hair all sorts pretty colors. As I go through what Eugene calls 'the ugly phase' of my hair growth, the good news is that I can block here and there with a few highlights for some shaping illusion. It looked a bit like a bowl cut before this which did not treat me well at all. I am super happy with the way that this turned out. It reminds me of my hair from last summer, except more intentional... I think.

I'm also proud to report that I am using my first ever Manic Panic product! I wanted a bluish purple for a change, something cool so I could start rocking warmer lip colors. The only company that had this tint of purple was none other than Manic Panic. Ultra Violet is such a pretty shade! I even love the way that it looks faded, cancelling out all of the yellow, turning into silvery shades. Best part of it is the staining power of the product. I just comb this color into my hair before I take a shower and wash my hair last. I have yet to do a touch up, but I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out.

This will probably be posted as I blaze Monday morning L.A. traffic. Where Monday's aren't the funnest of days I'll get to put a new face (hair?) forward. I'm fairly new to the daily grid, anyone have so tips for getting through Mondays in one piece?
